CARDED REP TEAMS: To Qualify for League Play in OMAHA

Coaches & Assistant Coaches: Each Rep team must have a Certified DEV1 Coach prior to league play (this is a New OMAHA rule), any others carded as Coaches or Assistant Coaches have until Dec 1^st and should be signed up to a clinic prior to league play starting.

Hockey Canada Safety Person (HCSP) - previously referred to as "Trainer": Must have a Certified HCSP (non-expired - taken in the last 3 years) Person prior to league play. New course will be good for 6 years.

Managers: Require a minimum of Respect in Sport or previously Speak Out. Starting this year, you can card only 1 Manager to your team. Any additional personnel must have either Dev. 1 or HCSP.

You may have 5 Carded to your team as Staff & All Staff must have Speak Out or Respect In Sport (takes the place of Speak Out as of 2009/2010 season).

INITIATION, NOVICE, ATOM DEVELOPMENT & HOUSE TEAMS:

Head Coaches: Must be qualified/certified with Coach - Hybrid.

Hockey Canada Safety Person (HCSP) - previously referred to as "Trainer": Must have a (non-expired - taken in the last 3 years) Qualified HCSP person. New course will be good for 6 years.

You may have 5 Carded to your team as Staff & All Staff must have Speak Out or Respect In Sport (takes the place of Speak Out as of 2009/2010 season).

REFEREES:

Must be qualified/certified with minimum of Level 1 which prepares a young or new official to officiate minor hockey. Must be 12 years old on or before December 31^st of the current season.
