Just a reminder in order to secure your Registration for the 2008-2009 season you must mail in your Registration & Volunteer cheques if you did not pay online with Credit Card. The updated Volunteer form will be emailed out soon and will also be available on the website. If someone in your family wants to be a part of the Team staff or Coach or Assistant Coach, those forms are under the About & Admin Tab / Coaches.
The Rep Tryouts will be starting on September 3rd and the first part of the Tryout Schedule can be found under the Calendar Tab by clicking on Practices and moving to September. All Registration cheques must be received before attending tryouts as they were due back in June when you registered. Registration & Volunteer cheques can be mailed to: WDMHA Box 41010 RPO South Lake Country BC V4V 1Z7.

The concession will be opening for the Bruins Skills Camps beginning on the morning of Monday, August 18th. We will be offering breakfast sandwiches, BLTs, Grilled Cheese, Chicken Burgers, Burgers, Wraps, Caesar Salad, Fries, as well as a selection of hot & cold drinks. We are striving to provide healthier food options for our athletes and their families, starting with changes in our bread, buns & cheese choices. We hope this will help to make your camp experience more convenient.

WDMHA WILL BE A TIER "3" ASSOCIATION FOR THE 2008/2009 SEASON
BC Hockey approved a change in designation of Minor Hockey Categories at the AGM in June. This will affect PeeWee, Bantam & Midget Rep teams only. Guidelines for determining the tiers are based on the average registration of Midget, Bantam and PeeWee players from the previous three (3) years. The designation is according to the following:
| Average Registration | Designation |
| 300 and greater | Tier 1 |
| Less than 300, greater than or equal to 175 | Tier 2 |
| Less than 175, greater than or equal to 80 | Tier 3 |
| Less than 80 | Tier 4 |
